Privacy Policy
3R Academy — Nepal Health Exam Prep · Effective 4 July 2026
In short: 3R Academy works without an account — your access code, progress,
bookmarks and review schedule stay on your own device. Optionally, you can sign in with your
email to sync those across your devices; if you do, we store your email and that data in your
own private account and nothing else.
Who we are
3R Academy is a study companion for Nepal's health examinations (Loksewa, Council licensing
and entrance exams), created by Dr. Mukesh Adhikari. It is available as a website
(3r.mukeshadhikari.com) and as an installable app.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, the following is saved locally in your browser/app storage
and stays on your device:
- The access code you enter to unlock a book you have purchased.
- Your study progress — cards reviewed, spaced-repetition schedule, quiz scores.
- Your bookmarks and "weak areas" list.
If you do not sign in, this information is not transmitted to us or to any server.
It exists only on the device you use, and you can remove it at any time (see “Deleting your data”).
Accounts and sync (optional)
You may optionally create an account by signing in with your email address. We use a
one-time code emailed to you (no password). If you sign in:
- We store your email address to identify your account.
- During sign-up we ask for a few details to personalise your experience and send relevant
materials/exam alerts: name, phone number (optional), the exam you're preparing for,
your profession/field, your province, and whether you own the book. You can skip these.
- Your unlocked books (and their codes) and study progress
are saved to your account so they sync across your devices.
This data is stored securely with our authentication and database provider (Supabase) and is
protected so that only you can access your own records. We do not sell it or use
it for advertising. You can delete your account and its data at any time by contacting us.
Information we do not collect
- No account is required to use the app; signing in is optional (see “Accounts and sync” below).
- No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking or analytics.
- We do not build user profiles or sell any data.
Third-party services
- Hosting (GitHub Pages). The site is served by GitHub, which may record
standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and
reliability, under GitHub's own privacy policy.
- Optional sign-up form (Google Forms). If you choose to tap “Get free access”
and submit the form, the information you enter is handled by Google Forms under Google's privacy
policy. Submitting it is entirely voluntary.
- Video lessons (YouTube). Some chapters may embed YouTube videos using the
privacy-enhanced
youtube-nocookie.com domain. If you play a video, YouTube/Google
may process data as described in their privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for candidates preparing for professional health examinations. It is not
directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored locally, you can erase it yourself at any time by clearing the
site's data in your browser settings, or by uninstalling the app from your device. There is no
server-side account for us to delete.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the
latest version.
